mi familias

i'm blessed with families going all kind of directions. i have a talking kinda blog that i'm starting to use to lay miscellany on the world. as my courage builds i decided i wanted to celebrate - or at least record - those families in a blog for them and me.
these are my families. i grew up with my mother 's and father's predecessors - weldons and benefields going back to oklahoma statehood and before. cousins from these lines live here and in texas, tennesee, and missouri. my living brother kim lives with his family in sand point, idaho. my brother jim's daughter, meredith, lives in texas. my daughters larue and larena live here in oklahoma city. my grandchildren live mostly around lawton, oklahoma. my family with bernice includes daughters jalena, felicia, tessa and shawana and grandchildren and others who live east and south of oklahoma city. i have a cheyenne and arapaho family who are family to me and vice-versa - the littlebirds and birdsheads who live in orthwest oklahoma. and i have relations to some other indian families that i consider family indian way also.
so here goes.
